Special illustrated and un-expurgated edition published in 18 weekly parts all royalties to go to the Red Cross Society, Pictorial paper covers some yellow and red the others in-red all with a photo of Hitler and the Nazi swastika at the lower corners 583 pages includes index with 200 full page black and white photographs. Published by Hutchinson and co in association with Hurst, Blackett Ltd with all royalties to go to the
British Red Cross Society. A book that should be read by all in order to fully hone their ability to recognise the rhetoric of the frothing hate filled megalomaniacs of the world before they rise to power and start making bonfires out of people who disagree with them. Described as the blueprint of German Imperialism this is Hitler’s own vision of how he saw the world and its future and outlaying his plans for the future of Germany and domination of Europe. A revealing insight into his mind, and a true key to understanding of events of the mid 20th century. The photographs show many views of Germany in the 1930s and many of the Nazi party hierarchy at various times from the earliest days of the national socialist party. There are also photographs of prominent German historic figures as far back as the 18th century. This is a very unusual edition taking in to account the time it was published revealing the totally open view of Germanys leaders without the addition of any pro British propaganda, the general public being allowed to form their own opinions of the opposing side. By the end of the conflict this situation was a great deal changed, by the intervening events. The covers of part 1 are detached and there is some loss at the lower front corner and a small piece at the lower rear cover. Part 2 has a piece missing from the upper rear cover only affecting the advert on the cover. The remaining 16 part are in mint condition without any loss tears or obvious blemishes. This edition has become much harder to find in recent years and is unique in its presentation and social historic content. Comment by MRM: An insight into why wars happen and bring out the worst in people. The excesses and misjudgement takes over, you can run out of control if there are no checks and balances. Politicians have a vital role to play in society, it is harder to guide people to do right thing, and make the right decision first time. A very scarce publication as complete set. Still banned from sale in some countries and by some organisations.
